Green Transition Alliance India
The Green Transition Alliance India (GTAI), formed in 2025, is a strategic platform designed to position Danish companies at the forefront of India’s green energy transition. Anchored in the Green Strategic Partnership (GSP) between India and Denmark and aligned with the Indo-Danish Energy Partnership (INDEP), GTAI brings together Danish players across the green energy value chain to advance scalable, sustainable solutions in one of the world’s fastest-growing energy markets.
In 2023 and 2024, the Trade Council of Denmark and Innovation Centre Denmark launched two pioneering initiatives: the Wind Alliance India (WAI) and the Green Fuels Alliance India (GFAI). These focused alliances created structured entry points for Danish solutions in India’s wind and green fuels sectors, catalysing new partnerships and deepening bilateral cooperation. GTAI builds on this momentum; serving as a unified umbrella to streamline and scale engagement across sectors such as Renewable Energy, Power-to-X, and Energy Storage.
GTAI comprises nine leading Danish companies and eleven strategic partners, including stakeholders from government, industry and academia. The mission is to promote long-term collaboration, unlock market opportunities, and position Danish technology and expertise as trusted enablers of India’s low-carbon future.
