Demise of Harry Jayawardena
Honorary Consul General of Denmark to Sri Lanka 2002-2025
The Embassy is deeply saddened to learn of the demise of Honorary Consul General of Denmark in Sri Lanka, Mr. Don Harold Stassen Jayawardena, popularly known as Harry Jayawardena. A decorated Knight of the Order of Dannebrog, his exemplary contribution towards Denmark and the bilateral relationship between Denmark and Sri Lanka lasted for over two decades.
As our thoughts remain with his family, we send our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
