Public Diplomacy and Cultural Section

As Public Diplomacy (PD) is an integral part of the Danish representations’ work abroad, the PD and Cultural team is responsible for branding Denmark, its green competencies in India and helps in fostering bilateral relationship between India and Denmark. The team is responsible for highlighting and promoting Embassy’s strategic sectors (energy, water, sustainable urban development, health, intellectual property rights (IPR), , and maritime), Green Strategic Partnership, trade and innovation centre to the outside world.

The team also promotes and showcases Danish culture, lifestyle in India. Denmark and India have a signed agreement on a Cultural Exchange Program (2022-2026). The agreement supports the exchange of Danish and Indian culture and collaboration between Danish and Indian cultural institutions and artists. The areas of cooperation include music, theatre and dance, design and crafts, visiting programs, and archaeology.

The team also handles Indian press and media relations and have strong presence on social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook) of the Embassy.
