Visit by Indian External Affairs Minister to Denmark

On September 4-5, Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S Jaishankar visited Denmark to build upon the Indo-Danish Green Strategic Partnership that was launced a year ago and to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
During his visit, EAM Jaishankar met with his Danish counterpart Mr. Jeppe Kofod to discuss concrete solutions for the green transition with key industry leaders from Denmark. EAM Jaishankar also co-chaired the 4th Joint Commission Meeting between the two countries which reviewed the progress of the joint working groups of the Green Strategic Partnership.
The EAM’s visit marks the increasingly close collaboration between the two countries which was further emphasized by the launch of a new cooperation on health.
In addition to the bilateral meetings, EAM Jaishankar had an audience with Queen Margrethe II and a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen.
