Legalising supporting documents

The supporting documents, such as educational degrees/diplomas, marriage/birth certificate etc., must be legalised with an Apostille Stamp from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Since India is also a member country of the Apostille Convention, there is no need for additional legalisation of the documents by the Danish representation in New Delhi. Applicants who do not legalize their original documents might later face difficulties while trying to register with the municipality in Denmark.

While your case is pending

You, your family or other persons including the reference in Denmark should not contact the Embassy and inquire about the status of your pending case unless it is because you have further information relating to the case. The Embassy will contact you either because we need further information or because we have received the decision from the Danish Immigration Service / Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration regarding your application.

Agents

The Danish Embassy does not endorse the use of agents or of consultants offering visa services in advertisements. The Embassy cannot guarantee the correctness of any advice given by these unofficial agents or consultants. They are acting in their own capacity only.

The Embassy of Denmark will not be held liable for any loss, damages, expenses or inconvenience resulting from the use of these unauthorized agents and consultants.

Financial help for students and scholarships

The Danish Embassy does not provide financial help nor scholarships to Indian students travelling to Denmark for study or research purpose.
Please go to Study In Denmark for further information on official opportunities in Denmark.

You can, of course, also try to get financial help from Indian companies, persons or the Indian government.
