Innovation Centre Denmark in India assists Danish companies, universities and research organisations in promoting ties with India. Innovation Centre Denmark is guided by a mission statement and activities are measured on a balanced scorecard including income target as well as customer value and quality targets. However, this candidate would not be directly involve in generating revenues but will play an integral role in achieving the targets by contributing to day-to-day activities and projects.

Candidate should be highly dedicated and independent with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. The ideal candidate has practical experience in the fields of problem identification and interpretation as well as market analysis, experience with working and interacting with research labs, incubators. Such experiences are advantageous, but not prerequisites.

The candidates should have a high level of personal integrity and creativity, while having good analytical skills. Being open, credible and a good listener are important personal characteristics. Good oral and written communication skills are imperative.

The main tasks and responsibilities as Innovation Associate are:
• Assistance to the Commercial Innovation Advisors in promoting business interests
• Help in maintaining and developing a strategic innovation network
• Facilitating contacts between Danish and local business partners
• Planning and implementation of programmes for individual companies and delegation visits to Denmark and India
• Contributing to The Trade Council cooperation in India and participate in regional industry teams.

Required qualifications
 Educational/Professional experience
• M.Comm/ MBA
• Good MS Office skills
• Freshers or  up to 2 years of experience in business research, market research, analysis and policy making.

Personal qualifications
• The individual is proactive and self-motivated to meet the KPIs
• Team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Open to travelling within India or abroad
• Open minded to new ideas, information sources and business opportunities.
• Knowledge and interest in innovation processes in companies and the wider ecosystem for innovation in India, Denmark and Europe.
• Flexible work attitude (time & tasks).
