"Well, Denmark is the safest and the happiest nation in this world which also provides quality technical education which can also be shown in numbers when it comes to rankings. ''I am pursuing masters in Petroleum Engineering at Technical University of Denmark. Previously I worked as a Process Engineer for more than two years in Nectar Lifesciences Ltd., Punjab, India. I have rich experience of teaching quantitative analysis also at Triniti, Chandigarh, India. I did my bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala, India.

The Idea of coming to Denmark
Well, Denmark is the safest and the happiest nation in this world which also provides quality technical education which can also be shown in numbers when it comes to rankings. The amount of research work that happens here is immense. If one has great interest in going for research, it’s one of the best places to be. That was the point of view before coming here. But after spending two months I got more than I expected.

It has been two months in Denmark. It doesn’t make sense that time moves quickly; far too quickly to really believe it has moved. And this speed has been remarkable and scary so far. In retrospect, it has been a wonderful experience in past couple of months. Time has been in these two months, a condensed, abridged version of how to live life. And it has sculpted me far more than anything else. Overall, living here will make one stand tall in the world of competitions.

Education here is at some different level. What I have observed so far is that you’ll become a true engineer after study of couple of years. Here the curriculum will enable you to tackle any of the hindrances and ensures you an awesome career ahead. It’s not only about mid semester tests and end exams, it’s far more  than that like oral exams, projects and sometimes no written exams at all, but still it manages to make the best out of you that learnt in past 13 weeks or so.

It’s been only two months and still I have lot to mention. If anybody wants to catch up everything while studying here, you really need to manage your time well. So what I ended up with is I am doing few of them but accurately. The culture here is really awesome. The people here are really great. One incident happened with my friend was he lost his wallet and that too twice. But what happened next is for the first time a person was standing outside his house and searching for him to give his wallet back with all the insides intact. Second time he got it back in his mailbox, wrapped in a paper. This is how things work here. And of course lot of cycling, which I love to do.

One can still manage to fly other nearby countries which are the biggest boon to be in Europe, but Denmark itself is a amazing place. Overall it’s been an amazing journey so far and I am looking forward to have more fun and fruitful experiences.
