Liquid Bronze Pouring in CPH Harbour

04.07.2019  12:51

Yesterday, the artist group A Kassen initiated their “Bronze Pour” project along with the Danish Ambassador to India, Peter Taksøe-Jensen, at the Copenhagen Harbour in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Bronze Pour is a design process where hot, liquid bronze is poured into cold water, and when the bronze hits the water, the metal splits and forms into small arbitrary bronze figures. One of the small figures made during this process will be chosen and subsequently enlarged into an intriguing bronze sculpture to be placed permanently in front of the main entrance of the Royal Danish Embassy in New Delhi.

The artwork by A Kassen is made possible by The New Carlsberg Foundation.
